Hi everyone! :)

I just ordered 18X8 with 45mm online. I went ahead with these rims despite the little high offset for minis. I've seen Minis with 18X8 with 43mm.

I'm wondering if 45mm will be causing problems. I was told I will be OK since the car is not lowered. What do you guys think? Suspect any modifications required? If yes, what kind of modifications?

Thank you very much! :)

Offset is a bit high for an 8" wheel but you should be fine. Just check to see how close the inside of the tyre is to the suspension - if too close run 3mm/5mm spacers.

Yeah basically what Roofas said.

Im on 18x7.5 with a 43mm offset/42mm offset not sure, but i can just about fit my finger down behind the wheel and the shock.

And yes spacers if you need them:D

18" x 7.5" ET 42 fit perfectly.

Just bare in mind later brake upgrades? If you or anyone else is reading this :p

ie: Brembos have wide callipers (pistons on both sides) they need a wheel with a high X-Face
bigger gap between rear of the spoke and calliper outside edge.

.
Cheers
Guy
