2007 Cooper Clubman stalls on idle, stutter/yoyo, poor acceleration

Hi folks,

Apologies if incorrect thread or covered elsewhere (please move/link if so!)

We have a 2005 Cooper Clubman which in the last few months has developed the following issues:

• Engine service light on
• Rough idle, stalls if not revved
• Slight yoyo on acceleration, particularly cold

Suggestions so far have been cam sensor, catalytic converter, gas sensor... any guidance welcome!

Plugs look good and even, so have tentatively assumed coil packs are ok too. Could be wrong.
