This looks like my dipstick
That doesn't look like the OE dip stick.

If you want the K & N filter do a search on K & N web site as I'm not sure if yours is factory JCW or JCW upgrade kit.

Thanks for you’re reply
It’s a JCW conversion not factory
Anywhere between the lower & upper slot, preferably towards the top and not below the lower.

These cars do better at the upper limit and check the oil level more often than other cars i.e at least once week.

Bear in mind don't know if the one you listed is the same mark as the OE levels lower and upper limits.

Looks like aftermarket dip stick.

It does worry me it’s not original dipstick, what would be the point changing it ? Anyone else seen this dipstick fitted ?

Now the K&N type are a little different than stock so be prepared. they have interference where the copper washer goes! I have not installed mine yet. I had one left from a 10 pack of stocker's I ordered. but will eventually do a update on that K&N. More info needed.

The one that’s on at the moment is a whitish looking cone filter in the JCW air box itself, so found a K&N that will fit in there, will that be ok ?
