one added thing i would if were you with head off do all the valve stem seals while its off i know its a pain but so many people on here have had stem seals fail

Do you where I can buy new bolts for the ends of the camshaft?

yep bmw do them think were £3.90 each last time i bought them, i've not found any after market ones,, i would also think about replacing the oil control seals in the end of camshafts first journals there is a upgraded set available i believe they have changed from metal to a carbon plastic type, these rings seal the camshaft oil feed to vanos sprockets, deffo worth doing while its a part

there is no web link dealer only,, ocean bmw plymouth or any other bmw/mini main dealers. you will need reg number and chassis number to hand when ordering, also any Peugeot citroen dealers will have them for 1.3 or 1.6 vti engines of the 1.6 thp for turbo cars.
