Hello fellow people - I have my mini today - Its a 2011 countryman and I was sure that the speed was displayed when i was test driving it

It now appears empty and I want to set it to show the speed digitally so I dont get parking tickets .... I followed the BC tip that was on youtube but its just empty

Can anyone point out why - The same happens when the car is running 0 The top speedo is just black

I checked the fuses f10 f23 f45 all of which were fine. If anyone can help I would be grateful because I can’t see the service or any warnings that are being displayed

So this is still a problem which is a real shame - Garage suggests that this needs to be done by Mini only and is extremely expensive - Has anyone replaced the tachometer and is it hard to do?

Can a replacement from a scrap car be used or is it all coded to that car
