Check the oil.Hi everyone I am new to this forum and I recently bought myself a 1.6 countryman D with 80k miles, from time to time I hear a rough rattling sound coming from the engine when its idling and sometimes while driving it sounds very rough....the rattling comes and goes it don't matter whether the engine's hot or cold...the car been serviced by mini all its life. Please help me understand the reason for the intermittent rattling and rough running....in all this, it maintains it's power and mpg is very good.
