Hi - new here. Just bought an air filter for my wife's 2018 mini cooper. It has a white foam pad about 3/8" thick at the bottom of the filter that appears to be glued on in several spots. The original filter does not have this pad. Is this supposed to be removed before installing or leave it on? Thank you.
