Hi,i have r50 with known midland gearbox, i feel like its life is coming to end. I was thinking of 6 speed conversion, there are various kits avaliable but is it ok to use dual mass flywheel on regular 1.6 engine, or would i need to buy a solid mass for r53? Did anyone do the swap on their mini??. Thanks

its common place i know a guy who has 2 sets of gearboxes and all the bits needed as a kit as such including flywheels and yes would fit a dmf they are not bad on petrol cars it diesels that kill them off, this guy in in plymouth
