I see that the Clubsport challenge includes Hillclimbs,As you do not need a roll cage etc etc to hill climb then surely if someone with a works raod car entered they could well manage to beat a works clubsport carrying the extra weight.:p :p
Could be an interesting day out.

Come and have a go zoooooom - Dates are posted on JCW site

On practical note ! according to the regs - 'The Challenge' only excepts club sports no other cars - doesn't stop anyone using something else on same day outside of challenge though:)

You do still need to complie with MSA regs ie Timing Strut etc

I used to do hill climbs in an Escort Mexico then an RS2000 and a Corolla twin cam.
I also used to rally,Sunbeam Lotus,TR8,Escort RS1800,Corolla
Twin cam.
Then I started up my own business and cannot afford to do it anymore but one day I might just come out for a blast.

I hope you are very successfull in your new venture.

You will need to let me know who you are so I can cheer you on!;)

I have just found this thread again while being board :)

As you may or may not have read I did do a Hillclimb against the Scottish Cooper Challenge cars :) :)

I was leadind all day until the last run when Mike Connen pipped me at the last run

The RAC scrutenier weighed my car and its was actually hevier that the clubsport cars.

As I dont have a roll cage I can only assume its the seats that weigh so much. :)
