Thinking of swapping my black/white 53 plate Cooper for an S... thought it was about time!
Dealer has offered me a p/x of £12,800 for my Cooper which is just about £1k less than I paid for it in Sept 03. He can't guarantee this until delivery date though and says the best he can do is £12,650 guaranteed. Sound reasonable based on what I paid?
Anyway, undecided between sticking to black/white, going for black/black, or complete change to Hyper Blue/white.
Spec I'm thinking of is:
Chili
Chrome interior
Heated jets
CD Boost (dealer has agreed to swap the MD from my old one into the new one saving me a bit of cash)
Anthracite interior
Clear look side light bulbs
I'm holding out for £12,800 guaranteed p/x but if necessary accept the £12,650 as long as they take the CD changer out of my current car and put it in the new one... just out of interest is guaranteeing a p/x price in advance unusual?
