Stage 2 tunes do not need a standalone ECU. If you're based in the USA head over to North American Motoring as some tuners can help you there.
Aftermarket ecu
So i talked to a dyno shop about getting my 2013mini cooper s tuned to stage 2 and i was told i need an afternarket ecu. Has anybody else attempted this and encountered the same issue? Do i really need to do that or is it just a different programming for the stock ecu?
