Air intake pipe

Good morning all
I'm am really happy to join this lovely community
But I need a bit of help
Brought myself a 2007 mini 1.6 diesel but the pipe that comes from outside into the air filter it's incomplete
I've tried to find a replacement, but not having the old one give me hard time
Can anyone tell a code or something to help me in finding the culprit
It will be much appreciated
