I have just finished washing my mini.....

So, i hear you say, well it is now 5.35 in the evening and i've been washing it on the street under a street light because it is pitch black....

I have had cars pip me and folk passing me muttering 'what a :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: washing his car in the dark'

But it was very, very dirty, and it bugged me, i do a lot of motorway driving and that is why its sooo dirty.

So there, have i caught the highly contagous Mini bug? or am i just going mad?

Is there really no cure?

I've had my MINI for 6 months now and I still read the brochure most days.

It still gets put in the garage at night.

I still park up the huge estate car (that work provide me with) and take the MINI to go and do the supermarket shopping with the (long suffering) family at the weekend!

I love this car to bits...

Is there any hope?

Tigger.

What a relief! Glad I'm not the only one who washes their car in the dark - my car was so filthy a couple of weeks ago, I just HAD to do it
i did a lot of miles today, and my min got drenched in seawater thanks to very high tide, very large waves and a gale force wind, so couldnt settle with the thought of it sitting in the driveway with even a trace of salt water on it, so stopped at the jet wash on the way home. no problem you say... nope, no problem, apart from the gale force wind and stair rod rain that was coming at a 45 degree angle. loving it  ;) :D

its a mini thing :p
Thing is though, i've now found a new problem with the car now its shinning........it seems to drive slower through the towns that are full of people, you don't think there is a problem with the traction control do you ?
I find that a clean MINI is a happy MINI and happy MINIs drive faster  :D
No need to worry, I still circle the parking lot to find that perfect space. Oh and spent 6 hours with a wash mitt, clay bar, and Xymol MINI cream wax :D

I've been afflicted for more that two years, it doesn't go away

I washed mine in the rain today, so worse is to come:p
washing your car in the rain is good, rain is de ionised or something, and gives a better finish i understand. MINI's are the most washed cars on the planet FACT ! :D
