No, I've asked for these on my new Cooper, ariving in November sometime (yippee!). I haven't seem them in action, but I thought it was a good idea in car parks (didn't think about using them for passing in narrow lanes, a great idea).
I think the spec says that they're heated as well, should be good for winter.
