Anthracite or not?

I would order the Anthracite option. I just got my MCS a week ago and I am very happy I went with that option. I also got the chrome interior option which I think is a must. When I get a chance, I will post a picture.

In my experience, I wouldn't choose a vehicle with a dark headliner.

1) IMO it looks too dark in the car;
2) It seems to form a layer of dust that gets visible after a while and it starts too look dull.

It comes down to personal taste...

I think it looks wicked. If it had been an option when I bought my mini back in June, I'd had definately gone for it

I think the Anthracite headliner is great - if there's something else in the car to lighten up the interior. Interior chrome helps, in my case I have the middle gray section on my seats, and the Hyper Blue dash. It depends on how dark you like your interior really, so just think about that and the colors you already have picked out for things.

I will be picking up my MCS with the exact colour combo as the Without
link in a week....I wish I'd ordered the anthicite now....

I'm sure I'll get over it....besides...who's looking at the ceiling when they are driving?

Yeah, the anthracite headliner was a conundrum for me too! I ended up not getting it because, like stryder mentioned, it only works if you have something to lighten up the interior with. I have black in and black out with the anthracite dash. The headliner would have done very little then, whereas the standard gray highlights the interior instead. I guess it is all up to how you are planning your interior and your exterior paint whether or not the AH is a decent enough choice. Good luck!!!

wow! it looks great man! is this a new option for the 05 model only? cos i dont recall aving that option for the my 04 model. the whole interior look much more blend in together. by the way, what do u mean by your previous 2 mini? is this your third new mini? if so, u muct be a really crazy fan of mini. :eb:

Hi

Yes i think this is a 05 option as it wasn't availible when i ordered my 04 model.

And yes when i order my MCS it wil be my 3rd MINI..
