Afternoon everyone.

Just posted in the welcome forum.

I have just traded my Civic type R (fn2) in for a 2009 Mini Dooper. Times are hard and all that. Plus I could not handle the depreciation any longer. WOW!

Just wondered if there were any Dooper owners on here that have taken it one step further than DPF deletes and remaps? I have seen there is a owner in portugal with a 180BHP Dooper but on a whole it seems people do not bother with these as much.

I know its not the ideal tuning mini but there would be something quite satisfying leaving a Cooper S in your soot with 20 pound road tax and 50+mpg.

Ive seen some people have fitted JCW exhausts and dpf delete pipes. does anybody know if the exhausts are straight replacement with no welding and also are these delete pipes for sale anywhere or is it best to pay a tuning company to carry out the delete and remap. Just trying to save money where I can.

Thanks in advance for any advice, would be really interested in hearing what you have done to your doopers both mechanically and aesthetically.

Hi Viper,

welcome to the forum, well where do I start, I am a petrol/diesel head tweaker and mod minded ie I like to get that little bit more. But after 4 months ownership of our dooper I wouldnt mod it further, I have a DTUK box in it, but if you have the flat spot good luck in sorting it, its such a pain. Do a wee search on the flat spot, my next fix is changing the crankcase sensor to sort it hopefully.
Happy Modding ;-)
Oh and the thought of leaving a cooper s in smoke, I do it already in my Abarth 500 esseesse. ;-)
