I found the attached picture of a Pipercross Viper intake on an MCS in a previous post. If you check the picture you can see that it is ONLY drawing air through the windshield duct via the 3 inch tube which is stuck through a hole cut in the partition between the engine bay and cowl area. Air flow from the front of the car into the air box is only blown onto the carbon fiber shield incasing the cone filter.

Not sure how efficient this setup is :confused:

i wold definately rather go for something like a piper x where it comes with the engine bay seal and the manufactured duct as it will wotk as a cold air induction and keep the engine heat out.
