I've been looking for these too :D

I still haven't found out either :(

The picture you posted was takes on the trackday that is featured on this site as well:

But it isn't Hubert's MINI, so he might not know what wheels these were

Whoa! an even better picture. Those are awesome!!
I'll keep looking for the right type...
Nice rim. Do you guys know if both cars have been lowered or it is natural after you find a 18"? (Those rim looks 18" to me)

Thanks!
Harold :)
IN my unprofessional opinion I would say that they have been lowered....definately the one in the first post. I mean he wouldnt go for all those mods (wheels, brakes, front spoiler plus it looks a high spec MCS) and not have it lowered!! :D
both cars pictured have definitely been lowered :)

any ideas on what the wheels are, they look fantastic
the wheels on the red car look HUGE!!!

i reckon they could be 19's or maybe it's just cos the spokes go all the way to the rims that they look bigger!!

they completly dwarf the s spokes on the ds mcs next to it in the pic.
Yeah, although I think they are 18", but actually they may be 19", don't know. Do you all think those rims will look nice on 17" too? (if the car is lowered, just a thought)

:D

It seems those rims look better on the car than just standing by themselves. :D
TecnoMags

I think they are Tecno Magnesio Detroits F1 Compare the fotos & link of these Tecnos & let me know! Hope this helps!

Hate to differ, but they're definitely Binno's, Rioman... as a Brazilian, you should know ;)

The Detroits have a bent halfway down the spoke, the Binnos don't. The red MCS (and the PhotoShopped gold MCS too for that matter) definitely sports Binnos (I have them fitted to mine, so I can be pretty sure about it) :D

Hey Sven,

looked at your gallery and the wheels look awesome! I assume you got 18"s? What is the width, offset and weight? What size tires and brand do you have fitted?

Rick
Hi there, Rick...

I'm rather fond of the Binnos as well; although I've had mine for a few months now, I'm not yet bored with them and still think they look great...

I did have to make some minor adjustments though: with the Eibach lowering springs (-30mm) and a bumpy road, the rear wheels hit the rear upper quarter of the rear wheel whells. More so when you're not just in there by yourself.

The cause of the rubbing is the width of the wheels. Binno only makes 8" wide 18 inchers... Even with an ET of 40mm (the maximim offset you can get), they're still pretty close to the inside of the plastic wheel arch rim. I'd like to fit 225 or wider (the wheels are a bit wider than the 215 tyres at the moment), but then I need to get the arches widened or the camber changed... not sure which would be the better option. Not even sure I want to go through with that.

I fitted bumpstops to fix the problem. Two 1cm stops on each damper rod did it for me: http://www.tuningteile.de/produkte/29006/

On top of that, I used a chisel to remove some of the plastic wheel liner near the wheel arch rims (the parts that rubbed before I had the bump stops fitted) just to be on the safe side.

The Binnos are even heavier that the OEM 17" S85's that came with the Chili Pack (fitted with P Zero's, they weighed in at 22kg each), so the ride can be a bit (though not too much so) harsh at times. But you get alround better looks in return :)

Wheel noise isn't excessive either, though perhaps a bit more noticeable then with the Dunlop runflats fitted as standard. But the grip you get with the P Zeros defies belief :D

The Binnos are made in Brazil, so I'd guess you shouldn't have more trouble finding a dealer then I do here in Europe, right?

Here's one US dealer (Bellflower, CA)(might have to ask for the B3/B1000's though, as they're not mentioned on their site):

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. And post some pics when you have them fitted ;)
