After failing to find a machine shop around me to replace valve guides I thought I'd give it a go , I was not happy to punch them out/in in case I damage the head or new guides in the process,
So I made a simple tool with stuff lying around. Only tricky bit was to drill a hole right in the middle of the m10 bolt, came out nicely in the end with pillar drill.
head of the long m5 bolt is 8.5mm which is tad smaller than outer diameter of the guide so it nicely comes through the guide hole without touching walls.
Pretty happy that guide came out without any damage .
I ordered one guide off ebay for comparison, outer dimensions are dead right.

before installation the new guide seems to have nice clearance, make a lovely popping noise which none the guides in the head are making, only worry is this clearance might get reduced once it get pushed in , so I will have to invest on a reamer.
Hoping to do the installing the same way , only thing I will have to fabricate some sort of a plate to sit on top of valve seats and pull the guide in, also some sort of a stopper to the correct height so when pulling in I won't pull it in too much.
