I have a 2009 mini clubman standard I after rebuilding motor went to marry the engine to trans and broke the ring that the torque converter locks onto. Were can I find a ring I have looked everywhere

little tip when fitting a gearbox to any engine i do this all the time, engine with no oil in it a must, i prop the engine up standing one the crankshaft pulley on the floor flat as such then its really easy lift the gearbox and let gravity do all the work plus it wont damage anything around the input shaft etc , on heavy gear boxes an use a engine crane to drop it on,, do you mean the flywheel if so link below
