Hi,
Anyone have £20K to spare..... what a conversion.....

Clinkard Ltd - Performance Cars: Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Lamborghini

Mini Cooper S Special, 05/55, The car itself was a brand new Mini Cooper S in October 2005. This car was then given to the renowned tuning specialists BBR who modified the car until it was producing 307 BHP. The spec of the base car was as follows: Electric Blue / White Roof, wheels and wing mirrors. Leather interior in Blue / Black, Chili Pack, Air Conditioning and Climate Control, Dynamic Stability Control, Multi Function Steering Wheel, Electric Folding Mirrors, Heated Mirrors & Washer Jets, Visibility Pack, 6 CD Autochanger, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi, Sat Nav, John Cooper Works Heated Sports Seats, Aerodynamic Pack, Tinted Windows.

The additions that were then fitted to the car were as follows:
Ported Cylinder Head Fitted, Solid tappets & Lifters,
BBR Cam, 16 BBR Big Valves,
Milltec S/S Exhaust System,
Copper Water Pump Assembly,
Idler & Belt,
Limited Slip Diff,
BBR Suspension Kit, F1 \Goodyear Tyres, Full Poly Bush Kit,
AP Lockheed Vented Discs and Calipers,
Turbo Charger,
Cylinder Head to Manifold Adaptor,
Cast Turbo Exhaust Manifold,
Intercooler Assembly,
Modified Large Radiator,
Modified Plenum and Pipework,
Oil Cooler Kit & Assembly
Modified Fuel System,
ECU System Modified and Expanded.

The car then underwent extensive testing and then had two magazine reports done on the Millbrook Test Track. They described the car as the "The Ultimate Mini".

This car is capable of 165 mph and 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds. There is an article in Evo Magazine (August 05) and cost close to £50K. The handling is second to none and provides the ultimate driving experience. Of the 3250 miles, 2250 were done in the development and testing of the car Clinkard Price: £19,995

that's very low mileage. I wonder why someone with that sort of power wouldnt drive the car more?

did not want to be seen driving in those girly colours...;)

be worth talking to bbr, if any warranty on conversion?, service costs etc

are you sure you don't have a job at BBR perm?

:p as said before I have no interest in being BBR spoke person on this forum..... however if David / Neil you do ever read this thread then all gifts greatly recieved.
