Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum but have had my 2007 R56 Cooper S for about 3 years now and finally thinking about suspension upgrades.

Strangely my car has a factory LSD but not sports suspension so I thought its about time to change.

What I'd like to do is to drop the car around 10-20mm so it looks less like a 4x4 with the JCW aero kit. Ideally I'd just like to change springs and maybe in the future upgrade the front and rear anti roll bars from the sports suspension pack.

I'm debaiting between the Eibach Pro-Kit or the Genuine Sport JCW Springs as seen on MiniGenuineParts website. (sorry i can't post links yet)
Has anyone fitted the JCW springs onto standard shocks?

Any input would be appreciated.

Lohen say the Eibach Pro-kit springs lower the car 20-25mm without making the ride harsh. You can then fit Koni FSD's at a later date, they help the ride and handling. I had a set of FSD's fitted by Lohen on my 2010 Cooper S and can confirm that claim is true.
