The school system is getting new busses and they all have white roofs. This brakes tradition with the chrome yellow standard. Apparently it is legal. I have been playing around with color combinations and the black roof option is making me wonder. Lately I have been dreaming of a silver MC with black roof, mirrors and bonnet stripes.

Anywhoo, I was wondering about interior temps on the MC when it has a black roof. If you own a MC with a black roof please let me know if you think that the black roof absorbs more solar energy and causes the interior to heat up more than say a body colored roof or a white roof. Too bad Mini USA doesn't allow white roof with silver body.

I had a CR/W Cooper and now a LY/B cooper and can't say I've noticed a massive difference betwen them. And I guess if you have air con then it will be irrelevant in any case :)
