Blue on Blue

Ok I know the question has been asked before. Will EB go with lapis blue interior? Nebula has asked it three times I think and only got a couple of answers.

Now I am a Techo type person with the colour sense of .........well lets say I was thinking the yellow with lapis blue was going to look good. Before BMW save me from this fashion mistake.

So come you guys that are I little more creative and artist than me(that’s about everybody here). What’s the final word on the EB with lapis blue.

NO, not for me, lapis blue gives you big blue back seats, blue carpets etc etc...just too many shades of blue...it works very well with DS but Not, IMHO, with EB

OK, so I have ordered that combo as well, with white roof of course. If you look at the thread Mr Mow posted about the Cooper S preview at Southbank Melbourne, you will find that someone has posted some pictures of that combo. Looks beautiful. Could not believe how nice that combo is!!! That particular car has has the 17 inch S-spoke. I am not aware that there is a 17inch X-lite? I want 17inch, but am also weary of the extra weight. WOuld be perfect if there is a 17inch x-lite!!!

I think it'll look awesome.
Think of it as a chromatic blue configuration. I loved the back seat of the demo S I drove with the lapis blue. Photo's made it look overpowering, but in person it was the balls.
I think the EB and lapis interior will make your MINI all the more outstanding.

Nebula I have seen it twice here in Tom Bush BMW and it is beautiful. I really liked!! I ve seen the BRG with brown leather and IB with brown leather and Black top, sorry amigos Im going for METAL jacket Pure SILVER and the interior cloth Space type the one with the silver streak down the middle, I plan to upgrade later with some MOmo or other aftermarket seats

The names of the 16" R84 and 17" R85 wheels differ from country to country:

UK: R84 = X-lite / R85 = S-spoke
US: R84 = V-spoke / R85 = S-lite

Using "lite" when referencing an R85 wheel is a misnomer as it weighs 25.1lb, and is more appropriate to an R84 wheel which is 7.5lb lighter.

Yes I am of two minds about this colour mix. As I have been told the EB and lapis are not the same shade therefor they clash. However IB and lapis blue go together.

The blue back seat does not worry me as i think it looks good. Just think to much blue....blue outside blue inside. Just that I do not what a black interior.

I have seen EB w/lapis blue in person and I think it is quite a good looking combination if you don't mind the different shades of blue matching together on the car.
