Were you able to sort this problem out, im currently having the same issue, i already replaced the latch, and that fixed the boot from rrandomly opening, but now the light shows up every now and then
Boot open warning light coming on when pulling away
I have a R56 2007 mini one. The fault started that the boot would just pop open randomly. I replaced the boot catch that fixed the boot opening but now When I pull away the boot open light pops up on dash. It kicks in about 2mph every time? I’ve tried another boot catch, boot handle and the latest the body control unit. Any ideas 💡????
