Hi,

I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help!

I am looking at a 2008 R56 Cooper S hatchback in the UK, which will be a second car in the family.

We will occasionally need to transport my 18 month old daughter in her Britax Due Plus car seat. The Britax website says that it's OK provided the additional tether strap is used.

However, I can't find anywhere that tells me whether the car has a suitable anchor point and I don't want to waste the seller's time.

Can anyone help?!

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Great - sounds positve! Where were they and what did the look like? (I'm trying to get the owner to check before I go and see the car).

Are they rectangular shaped and at the base on the rear side of the back seats?

Those are the ISOFIX mounting points. Don't recall using a tether TBH and never had any issues.

A tether point it usually in the roof / C pillar IIRC.

You won't waste anyones time. It's doable by all standards and should be no problem at all. It's awesome you teach your lil' girl what is a really cool car ;)
