I totally agree that PW should be an option on convertibles!
First someone gave me $24,300 for my 2002 S. Wouldn't you sell it. I'd be daft if I didn't.Only my opinion but I think your daft.
Surely you knew what the colour ranges were before you sold the Cooper S.

Give me your Cabrio color and interior you bought then I will give my honest opinion why it was not my choice.

Ummm..all due respect but why should anybody here care what your opinion is of choices we have made?
You obviously don't want something that isn't exactly spec'd as your fantasy car would be. Ok...I'd prefer EB / White Top in a Cabrio but so what?
You just sold a 3 year old car for current MSRP, yet obviously you have no faith that an MCSC will hold its value 2 years down the road when they may be offering PW as a choice and you could switch out. You also obviously don't care to explore aftermarket upholstery...which is the route we're going.
It sounds to me like you think somehow your refusal to order is punishing MINI for not offering what you want. I seriously doubt it will matter and in the meantime you will be driving---what?

I am waiting on my Cool Blue/Dark blue leather/Black top w/ Black bonnet stripes.TURB CAB said:Does anyone feel that they settled on color/interior options?
or thought they were making an incorrect choice when ordering?

And it is still about choices.

Again there are colors that I could have settled on but some of the interior choices weren't acceptable with the colors I liked.
If it was a tin top, no problem making a decision.
I live in a area that my top would be down 90%, so interior options have some importance to me.

I did like the Dark Silver with the anthracite dash with chrome. The interior choices were leatherette-to hot where I live, to much sun. Space cloth was alright but wanted a little more aggressive look. It would have been my choice if MINI offered it with leather trim as the did with Tarten red.Petey I - I chose dark silver with black stripes and top with black/grey seats and anthracite dash with chrome. Some colors induce the "ew gross chill" in some people (yellow in my wife, green in me, that MINI.
That is also a great choice and if change my mind before 2006 I might like it with those Blue leather seats. Though I would still ride with the top down 90% of the time.interceptor What about Cool Blue?
I must have hit a nerve.........Peter CrowlUmmm..all due respect but why should anybody here care what your opinion is of choices we have made?

Black with cordoba beige -stunning car! Black is terrific also the Astro black. If I lived in a cooler climate I would give it some serious thought.DeLaura
I can say that you are definitely missing out on a fun ride! Maybe MINI will offer you the colors you are looking for next year. In the meantime, I hope that you live close enough to where you work to walk or ride a bicycle! I chose jet black/black/cordoba beige and I have to say I couldn't be more pleased with the color choice, but then, I picked it out myself so of course I am pleased with it.
I"m sorry your so upset. My intentions in no way was to upset anyone.MadisonMini Honestly, this has got to win the award for the most screwed- up thread I've seen on Mini2.
TurbCab, since you've joined Mini2, you've posted 120 times. Obviously, you were excited about the MCSC. Going as far as already discussing a group buy for the windblocker. You just figured out now that you don't like any of the convertible colors. Did you just look at the colors today for the first time and realize you don't like them??And then you *offer* to critique OUR color choices?? Honestly, how old are you? I'm sorry, I don't really get personal on Mini2, but like someone said above, you've got some issues. If you had just joined and said "I'm having some color choice problems, I don't like any of them" fine, I can deal with that. But you have been here for a while and NOW you figure it out. I think it's offensive that you are willing to put down others choices to support why your opinion is right. I've had my MCSC since Sep 30th, and all I can tell you is that you're seriously missing the bigger picture.

However everybody does have their own opinions and views on different colour combos and agreed i too think pepper white would look fab, hey you could always have had it re-sprayed to make it original!
Well at the end of the day its your decision and you've done it now, good luck with whatever you decide to do with future cars
!thats true but a car is a big decision
if your going to spend that amount of money the right choices have to be made and thats down to the individual person, i guess it shouldnt matter what other people think
That is what I make a conscious choice not to do in my life. It also disturbs me even that it entered my thinking when choosing a MINI cabrio that I would live with daily.there are colors that I could have settled on

You asked early on in this discussion for my colour combinations see below my Tin Top.
I've made a few changes to what I like including a respary with metal flake and a leather retrim. Now I know its not to everyones taste but I like it.
My cabrio is Chilli Red with Aero Kit Black Roof black leather seats and red dash & door trim. I will post a picture soon.
