It won't be cheap ... costs over $2000 posted by US members on this site.

How many miles do you have on your MINI?

i just took a look at you minis profile its a 03 model if thats correct then take it back to the dealer and get them to sort it out free of charge

i see you have the amd engion tuning done i take it this is the one click kit?

the mini comes with a three year warranty or 50K miles which ever comes up first dont even consider paying for it to be done

unless you have really played with the engion then you are on your own on this one

$2000 US sounds a little steep. A couple of years ago I was quoted $1800 for a 911-996 clutch.

That would be great if they warrant it...usually they fall into the "wear item" category and aren't covered....like brake pads.

I was quoted "about £1000" to replace a clutch when I had problems with my '03 MC. In the end it was replaced under warranty which it ought to be considering the mileage (8k on mine) although I guess it is possible to burn a clutch out a lot quicker depending on your driving style.

What exactly is the problem with your clutch, there are a few known issues with them that should be covered by warranty
