Can I improve DAB reception?

The radio in our 2014 roadster can not be used on FM as the button is broken, rather annoying on a car with only 14k on it, and I’m really not willing to pay mini £850 for a new radio.

It has DAB, but the reception on this has always been rubbish, a lot of the time it picks up nothing, when it does work the signal drops out very frequently, this may be because it has the small boot mount aerial rather than the roof mount. Had anyone changed the DAB aerial and got improved reception? Or fitted any sort of signal booster?

Thanks

Hi,
Have you tried eBay or your local breakers yard for a replacement radio?
I don’t really want to go that route, I can’t imagine removing the radio is an easy task and the interior is mint, I’d rather not risk inflicting any damage.

To be able to use the DAB would be perfect solution if I can improve the reception.
Did you ever sort this. I have a 2015 Roadster with the same issue
