Smiffy, the stickers are made out of white vinyl, much the same as bonnet stripes are made from and self adhesive.

Sorry, and no offence intended - but since you ask I have to say that I don`t think they look very good.

This is a special MINI site and therefore IMO it requires a special MINI logo.

Paul, shouldn`t this be some kind of official, unique, design - if it`s going to be publicising MINI2 ?

I\'m afraid I have to agree with Jax on this one..

Personally I think any merchandise carrying the MINI2 name should be done using the MINI2 typeface at the very least..and I have a sneaky suspicion that either Paul or Casey will have copyright on that!

I also think that a \'clear\' sticker with the typeface in white may look a little better (in my opinion) - if only for the fact that the rear window isn\'t huge to start with so I\'d prefer to keep it as clear as possible!..;)

Sorry to sound so negative...but you did ask! ;) ;)

I too would prefer MINI2.COM using the fonts of the logo from this site in white on a clear background... as long as this will be the standard... All MINI2.COM stickers should look the same IMO.

I agree, I don\'t like the font - When are the official ones coming out???

I\'m not offering to make these but how about the following:

Monsta, I too would prefer the mini2 font but didnot know what it was so if some one will tell me i will make changes. The stickers have not been made yet as i was looking for everyones input, those of you who would prefer a clear background the sticker would have no back ground at all just the letters

It is just plain old Arial (Bold) which I used...
But doesn`t need the www - IMO.

Ideally the sticker would be of the `peel-off background leaving the characters only` variety.

If it could be done for a reasonable price I reckon the 2 would look great in a limited range of colours - to `draw` the eye, and maybe match some of the MINI paint options.

Either way, I agree that the other characters should be white.

Anyone got any comments?

If it\'s just plain old Ariel Bold then you shouldn\'t have any copyright issues to worry about! :) I think the latter version is the better one and I also had an idea about using the \'2\' to match the colours of the cars (great minds think alike and all that..:) )

Personally I\'d prefer leaving the \'www\' in place though - it\'s superfluous, but it does balance the design out quite nicely

The stickers are going to be of the \"peel off background leave the characters behind\" variety already, i will change the font tuesday and leave the www on, i will post the results as soon as i can. as far as the 2 being a different colour, all one colour is easier to do rather than colour co-ordinated for individual cars, how about green as on the club sticker ideas?

I would like a sticker to advertise MINI2 or Club MINI2 whichever. Paul mentioned once that one may be included in the membership pack too. Without Paul and Casey there would be no MINI2, so I\'d rather buy official even if it\'s more expensive and support the site. Paul/Casey what are your views on people producing their own MINI2 branded goods?? I\'m sure we would all respect them whatever they were, I know I would.

Hmmm...I reckon that would clash with my Yellow paintwork (and before anyone else says it...what wouldn\'t? ;) )

If coloured versions work out too expensive/fiddly to produce, then I\'d favour the while on clear variety (on the assumption that black on clear would get \'lost\' on the tinted windows)

I paid 85 quid for 300 stickers 2 colour on white vinyl internals from Jaycee Print near Cardiff... there must be someone who can do it at those sort of prices
