Can anyone tell me how to separate the electrical connector for the high level brake light on my R50 Cooper? There doesn’t appear to be any ‘release’ button or lever.
Also, the replacement light that I bought on EBay has no rubber seal on it. Should I try and reuse the old one or not bother?

Had another go at removing this 3rd brake light. The plastic electrical connectors seem to fixed together. Can’t see how to separate them
