Cheap set of 16's in NSW or ACT

Does anyone have a set of 16's they want to sell without tyres??? who live in NSW/ACT maybe even Vic???

I need to get a second set of wheels so i can get my 17's repaired, plus 16' race tyres are cheaper

I know Samu (Sam, in Vic though) has a set of 5 stars he was looking at selling a few months back - they are off his cooper.

Not sure what he wanted for them... PM him.

How 15" sound or is it too small for your liking?

Can you get the 15" rim on over the brakes on a MCS or are MC and MCS brakes the same?

I have a set of 13" hotwires here for my 2002 BMW - I wonder if they'd fit the MCS

They have these old Dunlop semi slicks on them, that I tried my hardest to turn to slicks on the '02!! Boy do they smoke good!!

From what I've been told MC and MCS brakes are the same and I think someone even stick some 14" steelies onto a MCS as a spare even. 15" rubbers are cheap and the wheels are lighter, the only downside I could think of is the thicker sidewalls on the tyres.

Yeah i think i should stick to the 16's as the 15's are good if i want to fit rally tyres... but i really dont want to tempt myself in taking this out into the forrest for a trial rally.!!!!

Hi,

Maybe try giving Nick Peak at Peak Performance a ring (0296835577). I know he had a set for sale some time ago (6 months), but I am not sure if they sold or not.

As an aside, I have 14 mini wheels

2x4 sets of street rims, 1x4 set of track rims, 1x2 set of spare track rims for rallies

I am sure there are others who have more, Trelo?

I only wish

All my money has disappeared on my car and track addiction

By the way, for my 16 track rims I paid $100 per rim (no tyres) and could have had them for $250 with tyre (partially used run flats), so bargain hard

Unfrotunately the person I bought them from has moved on to greener pastures
