Today our local mini club went to hunstanton to switch on the christmas lights it was quite a sight a mixture or old and new minis in harmony no back stabbing and catty remarks

which is something our club prides it self in www.kingslynnminiclub.co.uk

we did a couple of runs through the town center with the mayor a dame and santa clause in the minis with us

some pics from the pre run meet up

and yes the 51 reg cab is a proper 51 plate cab tin top conversion by bespoke i am trying to intruduce the owner to mini2

bah humbug:p
spent ages talking to the woman who ownes it it was aquired by russ swift when the mini first came out it was a mini one tin top then russ had it worked on by bespoke its had all the strenthining put in the floor there is all the room in the back that a normal tin top has as the roof folds down and sits ontop of the old parcel shelf space and it is done by a elctric motor not by hand the boot conversion is like the new cab boot apart from the lid bit at the top dont lift up and the boot hinges are off a classic mini and the radio antenna is mounted on the front wing

hell its a good conversion and it must have ****ed bmw off as another company made a convertable bmw mini befor them

hope that explains it mr rake

am trying to get her to goto the inmm at lommell

fevs:D :D :D

oh cool, Russ used to get conversion done on classics too before they became production, better for his shows waving to crowds and stuff, those were almost like a targa top with no back.

thanks for the info;)

So Santa drives a Suzuki? I guess the reindeer had the day off. But that is cool, everyone should love both types of Mini's! (Or MINI'S)!
