I use "Peek" from Halfords, thanks to Monsta for recommending it on another post. It comes in can and tube form, personally I went for tube form.

You just put a small pea sized amount onto a dry/damp cloth, don't let it dry, and then rub hard (with a dry cloth) until you can see your face shining back at you. :D

Coke for chrome?

I used Coke for cleaning the chrome bits this afternoon. The results are quite good.By the way, coke contains phosphoric acid and that is why it's quite a good cleaning solution for lots of stuff.

Autosol is another tube form chrome cleaner which is excellent.

WARNING - do not use a proper chrome polish on your plastic chrome ie boot handle, bumper inserts etc as you will remoce the finish - metal chrome only.

For the plastic chrome i use meguairs clear coat body scrub followed by a coat of my fav wax. :)
