Clicking under bonnet

Just bought a 2007 mini Cooper r56 engine runs fine but when engine is off got a clicking under the bonnet any idea please

Is the clicking continuous?
Does it only happen just after turning engine off?
Does it still do it if you turn ignition on then turn ignition off without starting engine?
Have you tried to narrow it down to any particular area of the engine bay?
