Hi,

So the title says pretty much all of my history. Successfully replaced the VL 2020 on the fob, engine starts but the fob won't unlock or lock the door.

Any suggestion?

Try checking the remote receiver is still good

if not, then you would probably need it reprogrammed at dealers or someone who can do it.

Absolutely right, but it seems that the PLC is burned due to water drops. As it looks I suppose it needs a replacement, unfortunately all I find is that is discontinued by the factory. Is that even possible so soon?

Yes no more production as the older 2nd gen MINIs are 10 years old now

Most likely to be looking at spare parts from scrap/salvage yards, ebyat etc..
