Didn't know which sub forum to put this in so here goes, feel free to move accordingly.
I'm a bit baffled, as is the dealer who sold me the car, as to whether I have the full on comfort access system or not, the manual and brochures don't help much.
2019 JCW Convertible, comfort plus pack, nav plus pack, HK and some other options. There's no mention of the 'Convertible Pack' which I understand is Comfort Access, Wind Deflector and Mini Open Timer, however the car has the wind deflector and the Open timer......it also has 'comfort opening' in the 'doors' menu. The car door handles have the rubber button on them which implies comfort access as well, however the dealer says, as they are the black handles, that could not be the case as that's an add on and they only do the black handles with the rubber button.....OK, sounds reasonable, what they can't explain is how the car has open timer and a wind deflector without having the 'Convertible Pack'
I didn't buy it locally so it's not simple to get the car back to them though it's under warranty and they have said they get it booked in with my local dealer. I'm trying to get ahead of the game and set my expectations correctly and also not waste anyone's time!
In terms of functionality:-
The rubber buttons on the door handles do nothing, held in, pressed multiple times, absolutely nothing.
The wing mirrors fold using the button on the door.
On pressing the open button on the remote twice the window comes down further to aid access..
On holding the open button on the remote the windows lower and the sunroof opens.
On holding the open button on the remote after his the roof does not fold back.
On holding the lock button on the remote after the doors lock, absolutely nothing, no windows or roof or, no mirrors folded in.
So I'm conflicted as there's signs that point to it being installed and not working, along with signs the car doesn't have it......any wisdom here, is there HW somewhere, I saw mention of a comfort access module?
