likely to be the seal on the cap or perhaps a slight crack in one of the pipes/hoses..
Coolant reservoir hissing
I’ve just bought a Countryman S 2010. On the drive back from work today I noticed a little smoke/steam coming from the bonnet and a burning smell. I opened the bonnet and noticed the coolant reservoir hissing. There is coolant in it so it shouldn’t be over heating. I’m hoping a new cap will resolve it and it’s just losing pressure in the system.
