The amps are not cheap I had a similar problem and I removed the amp and changed the speakers and it sorted it
Cooper Convertible Harmon Kardon HELP
Hi,
I brought a 2004 Cooper Convertible last year, it has had a pioneer stereo in it, it’s been working fine, until last week it has been making a horrific cracking noise, and now has no sound at all.
I went to Halfords today who told ms to buy a new pioneer stereo, I’ve done that and still have no sound!
Back to Halfords he now said the stereo won’t work it’s the amp? Is this a cheap easy fix? Any tips? Who can look at this for me? Can I do it myself?
