Hi all, newbie here!!!!!!!

I collected my 'cherished' cooper s from the dealers on the 19th June and, to cut a long story short, it returned there on the back of a recovery truck on the 27th after i had noticed a leak and the vehicle got stuck in gear.

Fault was diagnosed as leaky clutch slave cylinder which has been replaced. However, this morning and this evening i have noticed the leak again, same fluid, same place.

Could this be excess fluid from when the cylinder was changed or is it more likely to be something more major that the dealer has missed??

Any advice appreciated

Tom.

There should really be no great amount of excess fluid or leaking now, best to take it back asap if it continues, perhaps a pipe or seal is still leaking even though the slave cylinder is new?............these things can happen when tracing faults on cars !
