Hi everyone I would be very grateful for advice here. I have a cooper s 2005 plate with 57,000 miles. The car has not been started up for 4 years as has been in storage.
What do I need to do in order to get it back on the road safely without trying to do any damage.
Thank you all.
4 years is nothing silly. I'd check the oil and coolant, charge the battery and turn the key. If I was being really careful I might put a socket on the crank pulley and give it a tweak by hand to make sure it isn't seized. It'll be fine though.
