Hi Wylie

you know we all want to come - only problem is the date. There's a big 2 day run the weekend before which is going to tie me down a bit and May is always a very very busy month for me in Mini2 land. Then of course there's the round BG thing too - which I'm helping do the Shaftesbury to Wales stretch. Think June might be easier this year as I doubt we will be doing a big motorshow weekend because I cant see MINI doing the indoor show 2 years on the trot.

around June 9th would be cool (my birthday!). Will be bringing my 2 dogs down for this so will have to buy another tent - think my old one has had it. You still thinking of Hendra as the site?

Anyone else got any input?

I'm afraid i am going to have to pull out of this John. Gutted too but as the Severns we have decided that we need to raise our profile on the local Mini scene and this run clashes with the Bristol Mnin day.

If it was any other weekend I would have been there with bells on.

Good luck with the run and I hope to make it next year if theres no more clashes.

Well, I did, but as you know this thread was set up after our joint run last year - before the date was set for the Bristol MINI Day. And as I said we decided as a club that that had to come first - this time. We had to miss it last year too because of the Motor show and it was about time we made our pressence known on the local scene

Pity that the Severns could not have decided this at their AGM though rather than letting people down

we did decide to try and attend this at our AGM rolleyes: back at you!), but I didn't want to definatly pull out of this until the stand had been confirmed and i knew for sure. The stand passes arrived this morning so thats when I put the thread up and had to pull out.

It is only me who's pulling out - any other Severns members are more than welcome to attend - so don't knock the whole club because I regretably put myself in this awkward situation - which you aren't making any easier!
