What are you all using to check your ECU for faults
With VW I use the vcds byross tech

i have vag com as well handy tool, also have lexia and Peugeot for psa Citroen and Peugeot, also have bmw insta for mini as well dont use it that much tend to use autocom cdp plus and wurth snooper both really good covers all cars P-codes really good gear for cost, £40 each on ebay, autocom has good live data , the wurth snooper has loads of autodata on it as well as other functions for encoding stuff

personally never tried, like said have a number of dealer level diagnostics bought for each brand at some point, cheapest all round and cover s all car on road are the autocom cdp plus, and wurth snooper booth are based around two of the best professional diagnostic platform available to the trade
