Did You Know??

I just noticed the neat tricks built into the MINI wipers - (maybe you all knew this but it took me 2 months to spot it!)

The front intermittent delay is automatically adjusted according to vehicle speed - quite neat:)

The rear wiper delay is also automatically adjusted according to the front wiper setting - way cool!:D

So - little things like this amuse me;)

how does that work then?
Don't ask me:confused:

Try it for yourself, but don't crash the car whilt you are staring in the rear-view mirror counting the delay times:eek:
So when's the recall due then  :D :D :D :D

Does the rear wiper work when the car is in reverese

I feel another experiment coming along:D :D
Being a MINI nerd, I noticed that one... :)
Why do folk drive along with their back wiper going. Most well designed car don't throw muck etc onto the back windscreen when they are driving along. So i can only assume its a ploy by BMW to wear out your wiper quicker so that you'll have to either fork out on wiper blades regularly or get a new back windscreen when it gets scratched!
Cool, my mums CLIO has got it & I thought it was a neat touch :)

Sometimes in this country we get a thing called RAIN which can make it impossible to see out of the rear window, hence driving with the rear wiper on :)

Glad I cleared that up for you :)

It isn't on permanent wipe, its intermittent and it is needed, trust me!

When driving in the Indian sub-continent at night I noticed many drivers turned there lights off at night for similar reasons to yours for not using rear wiper

...I'm surprised this hasn't caught on elsewhere
