Hi guys

Just a quick post does anyone no if there's any difference in the MCS 01/04 to the 05 model in the way the rear exhaust is fitted.

I have just bought a Blueflame system like the one advertised at MiniSport, twin exhaust backbox side exit. It's to go on my 05 MCS and just wondering if there has been any changes compared to the earlier model MINI.

Yes There Has After March/april 2004 They Moved The 2 Inner Exhaust Hangers Forward. A Good Exhaust Specialist Such As Powerflow Should Be Able To Relocate The Hangers

Is It The Exhaust That Minisport Have On Their S As I Went To Mini Sport On Friday And Had A Listen To Their Car???

Been spending quite a bit on bits n bobs think it's coz I have had to wait for my car to arrive I get bored so pop online and always see something new....lol

Black rear tail gate handle (bought off Ebay for £10) Going with my all black theme.

That about it so far saving for a nice set of wheels after X-mas.

Just hope I don't have to modify the Bluflame exhaust to much

no i have heard it aint too much to do to get it to fit. i will be up december 4th so will pop across. will ring first. wanna get one of them carbon bonnet scoops. who is yours by???

I got the scoop from MINI Speed. Don't know if your already a member but it is well worth it to join the MINI2 priv member scheme, you get discounts from a wide range of MINI shops. It's £10 for the year.

Anyways the scoop cost me £105 roughly, this was before I was a priv member so I may have gotten 10% off. It's genuine C/F not just ABS covered like some you can get. Last time I spoke to MINI Speed they were really professional. I ordered the Alta quick shift from them and when it arrived the gear Knob had a slight scratch on it. I phoned them and within 2 days they sent a replacement and even rang me round about 4.30 in the afternoon to reassure me that the part was in the post. I can't recommend them highly enough. Infact if I have to get anything in the future they will be the first place I will goto their service and manner they deal with customers is so good.

PS Lee was saying you have been getting poor mpg, take a look at the MTH post. With this mod you seem to be able to get better mpg.
