I occasionally need to do this when I leave the dog in the car for a few minutes.

The manual says to press the lock button twice, but this does not seem to work.

Has anyone else tried this ?

I have the keyless/comfort locking and if I leave the fob in a pocket and press the button on the door handle once it single locks the car so I can leave the windows cracked open and the panoramic roof cracked open - assume this is is similar to what you want to do? It doesn’t seem to like doing it from my keyfob though.

Are you "double clicking" it? Try click once, then press again immediately once the doors have been locked. (i.e. don't double click)
Yes, tried this, no joy for me
I think it does work if you leave the windows open a little and use the fob

Found this in another forum, with more details, hope this helps.

Press lock and then press again after in short succession. The alarm red led on the end of the stalk should stay red for a few seconds then continues normally. This tells you that the inside motion sensors are off.
