Does Tyre Weld really work?

What's the real low down with Tyre Weld. I've heard endless stories about it being totally ineffective, and, erm.......... no good stories. :(
It should temporarily repair a punctured tyre and inflate it at the same time but the inflation bit doesn't seem to happen.
With all this ditching of run flats we need an effective solution.
I don't fancy a compressor, or spare tyre, anyone know a good alternative, or had a good Tyre Weld experience?

I'm hoping Tyre Weld will work :D:D I've got 2 cans in my boot just in case one isn't enough.

Snap :p I hope it works as well :p :D
It does work. I used it several years back and it sealed the puncture with no problems. From memory your supposed to drive for about 25-50miles once you have used it so it will rotate and seal the tyre puncture correctly. You will probably need to inflate the tyre too though as the can alone will not have enough air to inflate the tyre fully.
