I like to take my lab in the back of my convertible with the seats down. just wondering if anyone has found something that would keep the dog in the back, maybe similiar to the fences that are made for station wagons.
thanks

I put a harness on the dog, then clip a two-ended lead on. One end to the harness, one end to the tie down loop in the back. The lead is about 30" long-enuf for him to turn around and lay down, not so long that in an accident, he'll come shooting into the front seat.

i used to put my cat on a harness, and had the harness connected in two places to keep the critter from flying around in case of accident. problem with letting the critter run around in the back with a fence is that in case of accident, he can die from flying around the back. one restriant isn't enough to kee them safe ... minimum of 2 is needed for that.

the new cats go in a crate that snaps into the front seat and gets belted in. its weighted right so the airbags are automatically turned off.
