I have a 2016 mini clubman and am having real problems with my doors in cold weather. The first cold snap happened and all my doors were frozen shut, I had to yank the handles and the bottom of the doors to get them opened (now waiting to get handles fixed). Since then even the slightest bit of cold and the inner seal of the door is freezing, even if there's no frost on the outside of the car. As it's the inner seal, no defroster or warm water helps, I have to pull the door from the bottom as it's the seals round the top that are freezing. Does anyone have any suggestions on preventing this, it's driving me insane. Thanks in advance.

You can use vaseline down the rubber seal, I use that once a year and it stops it from happening for me :)

Another cold weather tip don’t use water use Isopropyl Alcohol the higher% the better. It will melt ice and gets in cracks good and can evaporate moisture.
I like using silicone spray on the rubber seals.
