Just had the man who services some robot/machine in the MINI factory in Oxford in my shop (I think he said it was the paint machine, he said he does work for Audi and other German car companies.)
I told him all about me loving MINI's and how I was onto my second one and we had a good long chat. He asked if I was going to get one of the new 'Double Turbo' Cooper S's......he was a little vague about exactly what it was but said that it was faster than the current S. Anyone know what he was one about or was he just a bull **** merchant? (or have I totally taken hold of the wrong end of his stick?!)

take it with a pinch of salt, but the new engines next year will mean the MCS is a turbo, not sure about it being double turbo

Oh they will be a bit faster but not greatly so it is rumoured

It could be like the multistage turbo in the new BMW 535d.. It has 272bhp and 0-60 in 6.6 secs plus 560 Nm of torque at 200 revs

is possible he's referring to the twincharge mini... not real sure of course... double turbo could mean twin turbo in the same time in my book
